Interested in health from an early age Nisha initially trained as a remedial and sports massage therapist. Wanting to understand more and improve her ability to assist people she moved to Melbourne in 1995 to complete a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) Degree and Masters in 2000 at Victoria University.

Nisha returned to Sydney in 2001 where she worked for 8 years in Bondi Junction at two busy practices, Sydney Osteopathy and Eastern Suburbs Osteopathy. During this period Nisha further developed her skills, knowledge and expertise through working with highly experienced practitioners.

In late 2008 Nisha, her husband and two young daughters moved to Lautoka, Fiji to work as volunteers under the Australian Volunteers International Program. Nisha worked at a school in Lautoka for children with disabilities and in the local community.

Upon returning to Sydney in 2010 Nisha established East Coast Osteopathy in Randwick, where she currently practices.

Nisha has continued to study over the last 18 years, completing post-graduate studies in Biodynamic treatment phases 1-9 and the Treatment of children phases 1-3, Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, Visceral Osteopathy in Obstetrics, further anatomy and embryology studies and most recently the Diagnosis and Treatment of Benign Positional Postural Vertigo seminars One and Two.

Through having children and treating many children in practice, Nisha has developed a keen interest in the benefits of Osteopathy in supporting growth and development from birth to adulthood.

Her clinic is located near the Royal Hospital for Women at the Prince of Wales Hospital. She has worked extensively with women and babies. This experience coupled with her post-graduate studies has provided her with strong skills, knowledge and understanding in the Osteopathic treatment and support of women and children.

Nisha has practiced yoga for over 25 years and loves outdoor activities such as surfing, bush walking, cycling and swimming.
